When God makes you wait

8.17.2015

How many of you have gone through your very own share of waiting processes? I know I've had plenty. But in my share processes, I have learned that my attitude towards that particular process is what will determine God 's next move. Why does my attitude determine God's next move? Because our processes are made to grow us. If we are not growing in our process then God cannot and will not promote us to the next level.

Below you will find a couple of biblical ways you can make it through your processes...

1) Psalms 3:5-6 (MSG)
"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen to God's voice in everything you, everywhere you go. He's the one who will keep you on track."
One thing I have learned through my processes is that YOU WILL NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND WHY GOD TAKES YOU THROUGH CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. You just won't. So sit down, trust God in all that you go through, and enjoy the ride. God won't take you through something if greater things were not to come.

2) 2 Peter 3:9 (MSG)
"God isn't late with his promise as some measure lateness...He is giving everyone space and time to change."
Reflect in your process. What can you make better within yourself and your surroundings? What and who can you remove and replace in your life? This is the perfect moment for you to reflect on everything that may cause you to slow down the process of God and do something about it. Don't wait until tomorrow. Today is your day.

3) Roman 5:3-4 (ESV)
"More than that, rejoice in your sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope..."
Your process will produce something special in you. Don't let doubt come into your mind and heart. Remain in hope in The Lord. Hope and faith is what will get you through it!

Remember, no process that you go through is plainly just so you go through it. No. There is a purpose behind it.

Psalms 27:14 (ESV)
"Wait for The Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for The Lord."
